Kenneth Edelin, Jr. – Edelin arrives at MyPhillyLawyer with extensive trial experience. He previously ran his own private practice, focused on criminal and appellate work. Prior to that, he had served as senior trial counsel for the Defender Association of Philadelphia, Federal Division from 2002 – 2008, where he litigated federal jury trials. Edelin was the lead lawyer on several trials involving financial and securities indictments, as well as co-counsel on a highly publicized homicide case. From 1996 – 2002, he worked as trial counsel at the Defender Association of Philadelphia, litigating hundreds of trials, including numerous jury trials. Edelin received his bachelor’s degree from Morehouse College and his J.D. from Howard University School of Law.

Brian R. Gilboy – Gilboy began working at MyPhillyLawyer while still in law school. In preparation for his career as an attorney, Gilboy has completed several key internships. Most recently, he worked for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office Clinical Program. Prior to that, he was an intern for the narcotics enforcement team at the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. He also interned for the Honorable Jeffrey P. Minehart at the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, as well as another Philadelphia law firm, Bochetto & Lentz. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston College and received his J.D. in May 2008 from Temple University Beasley School of Law.
