Michael Gallagher, Esq.

Michael Gallagher has been inspired by his experience to help victims fight insurance companies.

Michael C. Gallagher was born and raised in Philadelphia. Mr. Gallagher attended Cardinal Dougherty High School and then La Salle University.  He graduated from the City University School of Law and returned home to Philadelphia to start a family and practice law. He is married and has two children.

Before joining MyPhillyLawyer in August, 2016, Mr. Gallagher spent almost 17 years defending insurance companies in the areas of motor vehicle law, premises liability and construction law, just to name a few.  His experience as a defense lawyer made him realize that many times, the common person does not have the means or capability to take on the large insurance companies and their almost unlimited resources and army of lawyers when it comes to personal injury cases.  It was this realization that compelled him to join MyPhillyLawyer and represent those that are injured and in need of a skilled litigator who will fight the insurance companies on their behalf.

Mr. Gallagher is licensed to practice law in the state courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  In addition, he is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, United States District Court of New Jersey, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
