John Lord brings decades of experience to MyPhillyLawyer. He has extensive litigation experience, representing clients in personal injury and commercial actions as well as providing counsel to small businesses.

Mr. Lord has extensive trial experience having tried dozens of cases to verdict as well as handled hundreds of arbitrations and mediations. On behalf of one injured women, Mr. Lord has recently earned a verdict and award in Delaware County of $1.1 million.

Philadelphia attorney John Lord has handled numerous complex cases involving products liability, premises liability and professional liability issues. He has also handled land-use and construction-related matters. Mr. Lord has argued matters before various appellate courts and has been admitted pro hac vice on several matters in Delaware State courts.

Mr. Lord serves as a judge pro tem in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Dispute Resolution Program.

Advocacy and service

In addition to being admitted to the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, Mr. Lord is admitted to practice before the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of the United States District Court, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States. He is a member of the Philadelphia and Delaware County Bar Associations.

John Lord currently serves the boards of several organizations and is a member of the Radnor Township Planning Commission.

A graduate of St. Joseph’s University, Mr. Lord graduated from Villanova Law School in 1972. He has lectured on a variety of topics, including trial preparation and evidence.
