Ms. Maran began her career teaching in some of Philadelphia’s most challenged public school classrooms. That experience shaped her lifelong commitment to advocating for worthy causes. She believes that the pursuit of justice is in her nature.
After graduating from Temple University School of Law, Ms. Maran joined the Defender Association of Philadelphia. She went on to practice with one of Philadelphia’s premier boutique litigation firms. “I have sought good mentors who have taught me strategic thinking and measured responses, to be fearless in litigation, and to care deeply about the clients who trust me to represent them at the most difficult moment of their lives.” Her greatest professional compliment has been representing the family members of judges and her fellow lawyers.
Ms. Maran is proud to use her trial experience and investigative discipline to represent individuals and families who have been injured and wronged. She approaches every case with the expectation that it must be prepared carefully and completely for presentation to a jury if necessary. Ms. Maran is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
